FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The EUR/CAD sailed higher on upbeat Canadian data Wednesday, however the upside was capped at the 1.3544 region, whereby the cross eased back towards opening levels in these moments.

After a tranche of economic yesterday in Canada, the only indicator of note thus far has been Building Permits (MoM), which grew +10.5% in April, crushing a consensus -4.0%.

After the recent pullback, the EUR/CAD has now eased back to 1.3528/35, still operating positively at +0.02%. Technically speaking, Mataf.net analysts calculate resistive measures for the EUR/CAD at 1.3572, onto 1.3610, and ultimately 1.3677. On the pullback, a break below the 1.3467 handle will initiate supports at 1.3400 and 1.362.
