US: Import Price Index fell 0.6% MoM in May

FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) - The Commerce Department has informed that US import prices have contracted 1.9% on a year to May and 0.6% on a monthly basis, coming from April’s -2.6% and -0.7%, respectively.

Export prices fell 0.5% on a monthly basis.

USD/JPY recovers 94.22 after US Retail sales

The USD/JPY foreign exchange has been unable to mount any sustained recovery today, however a recent movement past the 94.00 barrier has stabilized the bleeding.
