UK election: Sunderland Central goes for Labour as expected

A Labour win in Sunderland Central, with Lab: 55.5% (+5.3), Con: 33.4% (+10.0), UKIP: 4.9% (-14.3) and LDem: 3.9% (+1.3). The  margin was larger than expected for the Labour, despite there are conflicting reports based on different models. The reaction in the GBP has been mildly positive, suggesting that the market is buying into the fact that it did not represent that much offn upset for the interest of Tories.
