AUD/JPY approaches 91.00 after Australian data

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The AUD/JPY fell further after the release of Australian economic data and reached a 1-week low at 91.22. Before the new information it was trading at 91.65.

Capital expenditure in Australia during the fourth quarter fell 5.2%. Expectations where to capex to remain unchanged after rising 3.6% in the previous quarter. The Aussie weakened across the board after the report.

AUD/JPY eyes 91.00

Currently the pair is trading around 91.35, near daily lows on its way toward the third consecutive loss. Price is approaching 91.00/10 where last week lows lie. The mentioned area is an important short-term support level; then comes 90.85 ahead of 90.50.

Fed’s Pianalto: Forward guidance has been effective
